Product Introduction
Carbon steel is divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel according to carbon content.
Low carbon steel: carbon content of 0.02 to 0.25; including cold rolled steel sheet SPCC and hot rolled steel sheet SPHC.
Medium carbon steel: carbon content of 0.25 to 0.6; including rolled steel for general structure and carbon steel for mechanical structure, such as S45C,S55C.
High carbon steel: carbon content of 0.6 to 2.14; including rolled steel and carbon tool steel for general structure.
The steel is harder as it contains more carbon, and thus low-carbon steel is used as a steel sheet produced by cold rolling that deforms the material at a low temperature, and high-carbon steel is used for a tool or the like that requires hardness.
